Next up, it’s the most beautiful and stunning gemstones of them – Pearls! Pearls can be dated back as early as mankind. They were the easiest to collect and since they were gorgeous from the nascent stage, they didn’t require any cutting or polishing. History
Pearls were considered highly prized in the lore of Egyptians; the people were buried with their precious pearls. 9 Days of Celebration, Dance and Happiness

Being the most widely celebrated festivals, Navratri is the time for celebration and joy. Navratri literally means “nine nights” which is celebrated in the honor of Goddess Durga. Filled with music, dance and utmost devotion to the Goddess, this festival is celebrated with much zeal. During these nine nights, nine forms of Devi are worshipped.
Navratri is celebrated with the belief that the Mother i.e. Goddess, will bestow upon us wealth, prosperity and knowledge. The nine days are divided into sets of three days to invoke the blessings of different forms of the supreme goddess. During these days, Goddess Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati are worshipped.  Whether it is fasting, dancing or singing praises of the Goddess, every individual celebrates these days with enthusiasm.
Like the different forms of the Goddess, each of the nine days is associated with a single color. These colors represent a particular Goddess and have its own significance.
